What It Means to be “Unreached” (video)

Here’s a powerful video on what it means to be “unreached” by the gospel. It’s a great video for reflecting on what it really menas to be “on mission” as the church in a lost world.

We have “unreached” here in the US. My grandniece, who I haven’t been able to have contact with til recently didn’t know what the 10 Commandments were. I’m not saying she couldn’t list them – she’d never heard of the 10 Commandments before – neither her parents or grandmother had ever told her about them – and it’s also a sad commentary on our society/culture that we have lost any mention of them in movies, television shows, etc. Back in the 50′s and 60′s they weren’t afraid to do that.

David Platt just delivered a challenging message touching on this idea at Together for the Gospel: http://t4g.org/media/2012/04/divine-sovereignty-the-fuel-of-death-defying-missions-2/. Not short, but worth the watch.
